Round-table Session with Senators & Parliamentarians

IBA Centre for Excellence in Islamic Finance conducted a Round-table Session with members of the Parliament and Senators on the 10th of January, 2017 in Islamabad. Mr. Saeed Ahmad, Deputy Governor State Bank of Pakistan, Mr. Irfan Siddiqui, President and CEO, Meezan Bank Limited, Dr. Muhammad Imran Ashraf Usmani, Group Head Product Development and Shariah Compliance at Meezan Bank, and Mr. Ahmed Ali Siddiqui, Director IBA CEIF addressed the attendee to carve a roadmap for the future of the Islamic Banking and Finance Industry. Among the attendees were the Chief Minister & the Governor of Gilgit Baltistan, the Federal Minister for Religious Affairs, the Policy Analyst Officer, Senate Secretariat, the CEO Saif Group, the CEO Shahi & Brothers Construction Co, MNA / CEO Rustam Khail Housing Society, Senators, MNAs and MPAs
