IBA Centre for Excellence in Islamic Finance, IBA CEIF in collaboration with Meezan Bank, is offering one month certificate course in Shariah Audit (CSA).

The course will equip the participants with concepts of Audit & Shariah Audit, AAOIFI's Auditing Standard, Shariah Governance Framework as well as audit of deposit related and financing branches.

Course will also shed light on Shariah Audit of Treasury and Pool Management functions as well as impart knowledge about audit of specific modes of Islamic Finance.

• AAOIFI's Auditing Standard
• Shariah Governance framework
• Deposit Branches Shariah Audit procedures
• Financing Branches Shariah Audit procedures for mitigating the audit risk at the assertion level.
• Treasury & Pool Management Shariah Audit procedures General Shariah Compliance Guidelines and improving Shariah Audit
• Quality Assurance and review of Shariah Audit teams Shariah Advisor report / Shariah Compliance Report

All the payments are to be received before the start of the course date.

• IBA CEIF shall receive full course fee.
• If the mentioned participants cannot attend the course, replacement participants are welcome.
• To cancel the registration, request should be sent through email at least 5 days before the course start date to be eligible for a refund.
• Participants who do not show up for the course are liable to pay full course fee & no refund will be given.
• If a course is postponed for whatever reason, registered participants will automatically be registered for new date of the course and will be informed in advance.

This is an advanced level course which requires basic knowledge of Islamic Banking and Finance. Participants should have:

• Understanding of Auditing concepts.
• Basic understanding of Islamic Finance.
