IBA Centre for Excellence in Islamic Finance is pleased to offer a half day intermediate level course on Wealth Management & Financial Planning for Islamic Financial Institutions. It will discuss the key practical Shariah aspects for Wealth Managers & Financial Planners. The course is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the Shariah compliant financial planning framework. It will enable the participants to gain valuable insights into the professional responsibilities and conducts of Islamic Financial Planner & Wealth Manager.

Dr. Ahcene Lahsasna

Dr Ahcene is currently the CEO of Salihin Shariah Advisory, Chief Academic Officer of Salihin Academy, a council member of the Malaysian Financial Planning Council (MFPC), and the Academic Director of Singapore Islamic Finance Academy (SIFA). He is also a Shariah Advisory Council Member of RGA Re-Takaful (Labuan) & Chairman Shariah Committee, Standard Chartered Saadiq Bank (Malaysia), as well as being a member of multiple working committees of AAOIFI. Prior to that he was an Associate Professor at INCEIF, and a founding member & director of the International Academy of Financial Consumer (IAFICO) in South Korea. Prof Ahcene Lahsasna is a CPIF (Chartered Professional Islamic Finance), a RFP (Register Financial Planner), a FAP (FAA Accreditation Panel), a CPT (Certified Professional trainer) by the FAA, certified Trainer by CIBAFI (General Council for Islamic banks and Financial institutions in Bahrain) , Certified Trainer by MFPC . Certifiedd Trainer by HRDF. Dr. Lahsasna has authored more than 20 books and is the recipient of the Global Business Leadership Award in Islamic Finance 2017 & 2019. He led Salihin Shariah Advisory Firm to the GIFA award in 2018 in Bosnia and in 2019 in Cape Town.
