IBA Centre for Excellence in Islamic Finance conducted a session on "Application of Real Estate Indices in IFIs" on the 29th of August, 2017. The session is being attended by participants from REITs, the banking industry, academia and the regulators. The trainer, Dr. Sheharyar Bokhari is a Researcher at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Dr. Sheharyar was part of the development team that pioneered the first commercial property price indices in the USA, known as Moody's Commercial Property Price Index.
