Course Description
IBA Centre for Excellence in Islamic Finance in collaboration with Al-Meezan Investment Management is pleased to announce a one-day course for firms interested in being part of the Shariah Complaint universe of companies on PSX. The course is essential for businesses interested in understanding the basic parameters of Shariah framework with respect to Investment avenues & Financing options and prohibitions thereof. The course will dwell upon the criterion for stock screening as applicable on the index. The course progresses to cover the disclosures necessary to benefit from the tax breaks as offered by SECP/FBR. Case studies and practical examples will be discussed to elaborate on various Shariah Compliant business solutions.
