Lecture by Mr. Sohaib Umar, Advisor Islamic Finance- Central Bank of Bahrain

Mr. Sohaib Umar, Advisor Islamic Finance Development at Central Bank of Bahrain, delivered a lecture to the Islamic Banking & Finance class at IBA earlier today. He spoke in detail about the global and local Islamic Banking landscape. An IBA alumni, MBA class of 1993, he also shared his experiences over the years as a finance professional and urged IBA students to be model professionals who strive for the very best. Mr. Umar, a staunch supporter of Islamic Banking encouraged students to pursue a career in Islamic Finance and concluded with valuable advice on the same.
